Hello ghouls and boys! Sorry for the long absence – I’ve been busy hammering away on Bitten and planning for the next short story (Welcome to the Asylum) and book three (Marked), and also enjoying a wonderful two weeks with my oldest brother, sister-in-law and my beautiful twin nieces who are visiting from the UK.
We’ve had a lot of fun riding the cog train up to Pikes Peak, visiting the Denver Aquarium and the zoo. There hasn’t been much time for writing while they’ve been here, but it’s good to take a break every now and then, and family definitely comes first :) I hope you’ve all been having fun too, and are enjoying the beginning of Fall.
So, here are a few pictures from our trips about town…

On the cog train to Pikes Peak

The aspens are starting to change, and as always, are absolutely beautiful!

Mr. Awesome Sauce being the silly, goofy man I love

Hyena’s usually creep me out a bit, but this guy just looked ready for a nap

Penguins always look so dapper in their little tuxedos

I think this fella could give Yogi and Pooh a run for their money!

Mr. Awesome Sauce and this little guy seemed very taken with each other <3

It was definitely nap time at the zoo

No matter how hard I tried, it was down right impossible to get a perfect picture of this little guy. He sure was beautiful though

And because I posted some pictures of Mr. Awesome Sauce, I suppose it’s only fair I share one of me too. And no, that is not part of my Halloween costume
