This little beauty arrived yesterday…

…and I couldn’t be happier!

Although Bitten has been live in ebook format for almost a month now, there is nothing like holding a physical copy of the precious word baby you toiled over for months. It was only Mr. Awesome Sauce’s firm assent that he didn’t want to get paper-cuts in his sleep that kept me from taking the book to bed with us :D

I just have a few very minor tweaks to make to the cover before it’s ready for public consumption, but hopefully within the next week hard copies will be available for purchase on Amazon (or if you’re local to Mr. Awesome Sauce and me—out of the trunk of our car).

Today is my birthday, I turn *mumble, mumble* today.

Unfortunately, I’m stuck in the office at my day job, but am looking forward to dinner out this evening with Mr. Awesome Sauce and my mum, and the “Unsurprising Surprise Party” that Mr. Awesome Sauce is throwing for me on Saturday. Slow cooked pork butt and homemade cheesecake, I can’t wait!

Today, also happens to be the birthday of one of my favorite authors (another Colorado local), Carrie Vaughn. So go on over to her blog and wish her a happy birthday!

Happy Monday ghouls and boys! I hope your week is off to a beautiful, sunny start like mine. It’s hard to believe that it’s almost the end of January and our projected high today is 70 degrees!
